These are dynamic customers applied within Search campaign ads.
This is how they look once applied:

You’ll notice headline 2 reading:
“Hurry, Ends In 2 days”.
The “2 days” is actually updating automatically.
Here’s the same ad the following day:

You’ll notice it now reads:
“In 16 hours”.
And a few hours later:

“In 11 hours”.
Once the countdown timer is setup, it does exactly that.
Automatically counts down your sale.
This is great because it:
- Creates FOMO
- Increases urgency
- Maximises your sale

The best part?
Setting this up is super easy.
Step 1 – Create A New Responsive Search Ad

Step 2 – Select The Countdown Option
First, fill out headline 1.
We found it’s best to mention the sale:
“Our Biggest BFCM Sale 70% Off”
Then fill out headline 2.
Start by introducing some urgency:
“Hurry, Ends In”
Then what you want to do is type “{” and select “Countdown”:

Step 3 – Select The Countdown Option
Finally, select the dates you want to run the countdown.
Then apply it to your ad.
Note: We found activating it 3-5 days before the end of sale works best.
